Specialised Professional Kinesiology takes the viewpoint that wellness is not just an absence of disease, but takes into account the entire human being, on all levels, physical, mental and spiritual. Therefore, Specialised Kinesiology can assist in a variety of complaints, such as alleviating or managing stress, improving concentration and assisting with learning difficulties, managing and/ or eliminating physical pain, emotional trauma etc. By using muscle testing to gain information from the client, Specialised Kinesiologists can access information from a client on a conscious and subconscious level, creating an emotional awareness that the client can use to overcome stressors.
Interventions also take on a wide variety of forms, from discussion of issues with the client, to running meridians, working with acupressure, lymphatic and neurovascular points, to massage and physical manipulation of muscles and joints etc. Interventions may also include lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise or meditation. The Practitioner facilitates the client’s healing process by balancing the body’s energies so that the body can be set on a path of self-healing. Energy balancing can bring a person closer to achieving any goal of their choice, in sport, relationships, learning or coping with life in general. Specialised Kinesiologists do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, nor do they prescribe medication. They may, however, suggest support for a balance, such as affirmations, tissue salts, essences, meditation, exercise, changes to the diet etc.
